It’s amazing to watch children grow up. I’ve been very very lucky to have many repeat clients, and to see some go from little babies to insane little people.
It’s no secret that I’ve had a long and cherished relationship with momstown | Edmonton and was their resident photographer for a long time. Since my family is picking up and moving away later this year, it’s a commitment I’ve been unable to extend any further, but I still am enjoying many of the relationships I made there, including one with co-owner Janine and her family.
I remember the first shoot I did with this family…it must have been more than two years ago. It’s long enough ago that I’d have to spend serious time searching for the session as I can’t even remember what month it was in. How time has flown. These kids got bigger! They both walk now! One has an abundance of curly hair!!
I feel lucky to have Janine as a friend. Back in the days of working a day job, she was my coffee buddy. She asked me first if I would consider being her wedding photographer, and then when I had to decline (having a day job wasn’t fun) she went and picked one of the photographers I admire most in the city. I felt pretty special. I feel pretty special to know Janine. She is amazing, and so is her beautiful family.
